Make a Wish

What granted wish would offer you the greatest gift? Are all the answers not based on happiness at their core?

Happiness, what does that even look like? Pleasure, joy, delight, exhilaration, enjoyment or is it more contentedness?

Psychology often defines happiness as an enduring state of mind that consists of all the above.

But where does happiness come from and how can we move toward it more often in our lives? There are many definitions and factors listed that can engender happiness: Living in peace and harmony, feeling pride in what you do and how you take your place in the world, how satisfying life feels, how fulfilled you feel, the balance of negative and positive emotions you feel, whether you have a sense of meaning and purpose and feel valued, as examples.

And there are a variety of ways listed to gain happiness including: finding meaning, working to achieve positive emotions, not living in the past, staying involved with life and beauty, eating healthily, letting go of resentments, feeling love, connection and appreciation toward yourself, recognising the things you can and cannot change, being in connection with others, being positive, connecting with something bigger than yourself/spirituality.

So what gets in your way of living a life with enduring happiness at your core? Where are your stuck states which are preventing or hindering your ability to be in enduring happiness?

If you’re ready to explore and work together on how to make your wish come true, contact me and let’s begin.
